After quite a long time I happened to leave office early just a little before twilight and as I was standing footboard on a relatively not so crowded First Class, I noticed that the Train was actually much bigger in size than the usual electric train that plies on the adjacent track.The current line is the old line which was converted to BG....and the parallel line is the long distance south going and Long distance EMU Trains.
When the 2 trains going in oppisite directions stopped for a minute near Kodambakkam,I was reminded of the movie Alaipayuthe,(also called Saathiya)..but the disconcerting feeling that soon made me rue it was the fact that the two trains were at different levels and hence viewing angles are not so optimum to even take a peek at the adjacent train.
But given the 2 major train routes...one from Central to Avadi/Tiruttani and the Beach Chengalpattu section, in terms of better chick factor the latter rules the roost,at least in the morning trains...towards tamabaram(tested that When I was in College).
